Schedule and Registration

Register on our volunteer calendar, and then simply add a note with the class you would like to participate in as well as your arrival/departure times.

Spring Field Trips: March - June

Choose a 2-hour time block between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

During this time of year, the Farm is waking up and our crops are just being planted. Produce is not ready to harvest, so our spring activities are more focused on learning. Check out the classes linked above for possible content options in the “Basic Programs” and the “Content Pillars” section.

Dates for Spring field trips are privately scheduled and will not be found on the registration calendar. To sign up, contact jody@firstfruitsfarm.org.

All field trips require a minimum 10:1 student/chaperone ratio.

Group sizes in the spring are limited to 60 participants.

Harvest Season Field Trips

July - November

Classic Field Trip

From approx. 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

The day begins with orientation which will explain how the Farm got started, highlight where the harvest is distributed, and inform your students of how their efforts will help people in need.

Students will harvest the Farm's produce with our team and other volunteers, or complete a specialized service task depending on age, seasonality, and the task that will help the farm that day.

Choose your content here from our “Basic Programs." We’ll pull your group from the harvest activity a little bit early to make sure we can fit everything into your classic trip timeframe.

Any additional time may be used to enjoy your lunch in our pavilion or a picnic area (restrooms and hand washing facilities are readily available).

Register here to sign up your group on our registration calendar. Note your Basic Program preferences and arrival/departure time. Your content will differ based on students ages and seasonality.
