First Fruits Farm, Inc. is established.
First Fruits Farm, Inc. receives its own tax-exempt status, establishes a board of directors and officers, and begins operating as an official nonprofit.
1998
From a small backyard garden...
The Bernstein family moves to a farm in northern Baltimore County with a vision to grow fresh produce with volunteers and donate it to organizations serving neighbors in need. The Farm begins with 8 acres and a few hundred volunteers.
