Welcome to the Online Prayer Corner!

When you come to First Fruits Farm to volunteer, you are welcomed at the Volunteer Pavilion, and the front right corner is designated as the Farm’s Prayer Corner. A member of our Prayer Team might open your time with a prayer or a scripture reading and also explain more about our team and how we pray for all aspects of the Farm, including our volunteers...including you.

We meet monthly for unified prayer which covers everything from requests for more rain/less rain, hotter temps/cooler temps, more volunteers, staff changes, equipment issues, safety, and for every single recipient of the healthy food grown here.

 

First Fruits Farm is about spreading the Gospel*, which we do by sharing the abundance that God brings year after year. We also share prayers of praise and gratitude

for answered prayer.

 

* What is the Gospel, also known as the Good News, of Jesus Christ? John 3:16 sums it up: “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  As human beings, our bodies wear out and we eventually die. (As Ben Franklin said, "Nothing in this life is certain except death and taxes.") Not only are we physically imperfect but spiritually as well. When we dishonor or sin against God, we separate ourselves from Him. If we believe that Jesus is God’s Son who made the ultimate sacrifice for us through his death and resurrection, then even when our physical life comes to an end our spiritual life will continue with Him.

Prayer Tour

Wednesday, April 30th from 7 - 8:30p.m.

 

Our theme this year is “Sowing Seeds For The Kingdom Harvest”. 

 

We will travel together by wagon, making many stops along the way to pray specifically over each piece of the farm operations as well as to lift prayers for every visitor, volunteer, community partner, food recipient, and farm staff member who will be a part of the ministry this year. It will be an exciting and inspiring time to acknowledge God’s presence and power in and through First Fruits Farm. All are welcome!

To Make a Prayer Request

WHILE AT THE FARM:

You will find our prayer request box located in the Prayer Corner (Pavilion) which includes prayer cards available for your completion (in the side pocket). After submitting your prayer request, our Prayer Team commits to pray in our team meetings and individually throughout the month.
